BLOODLINE

I’ve always wondered where I got my spritual gifts. The biggest wonder was “who am I” because I am adopted. As I got older, and more and more my gifts became prevelant, I kept wondering, “Where did I get this from?”

One day, in my business I heard this commotion. Not an argument, but lots of voices talking. I couldn’t investigate because I was in a session and I knew my business partner was on the floor; so I wasn’t too terribly worried. After I got out of the session, I saw that I got a new dresser. I remember the urgency in this dresser arriving. My cousin gave it to me, in a rush. She was adamant that I take it. In addition, she made sure that it would be OK with me to keep. It’s the urgency that stayed with me though.

Fast forward a year later. I finally decide to use the dresser and how I need to use it. I open the dresser and there was a lot of private information. I knew no one had gone through these things because there were important documents and items. As I looked through the drawers, I found mojo bags, herbal jars, and petitions of blessings and faith. It was confirmed. I’m not a witch, but healing is in my bloodline. I could feel the strength and confirmation flow through every fiber of my being as I found more and more spiritual items.

I found this interesting because I am adopted. This solidified my spiritual beliefs as well. Ancestors can be those that are of your bloodline but also those that choose to lead and guide you. Ancestors can be a friend of the family or a beloved grandmother. The connection I felt let me know that these gifts are deeper than blood. They are bound by love, and generational lineage.

As I researched I found that I am a 6th generation healer. My spiritual gifts of insight, intuition, healing, and guidance are all apart of who I am. Not a hobby, not a fad phase, but my heritage. What an honor to be my ancestor’s wildest dreams!
